A former airfield turned master-planned district, with a farmers market, 140 acres of parks and strict architectural guidelines that keep the streetscape consistent.
What it is like to live here
Most of the housing stock dates from the decades either side of mid-century, with a steady trickle of teardown-and-rebuild on the larger lots. Buyers tend to be trading up from closer in, and they stay a long time — which is why inventory here is thinner than the demand would suggest.
Getting around
Downtown is roughly fifteen minutes outside of peak and closer to thirty between eight and nine. Coverage by bus is limited, so plan on a car.
Schools
Rated 8 out of 10 on the state assessment. Boundaries do shift, so confirm the current zoning for a specific address before writing an offer.
What we would tell a buyer
Do not chase the lowest price per square foot here. Lots vary enormously in how usable they are, and a flat half-acre is worth considerably more than a steep one of the same size.
